"The property was clean and quiet. The mini kitchen looked nice, but we didn't use it. You can't see it from the main road, so that was weird. There is a Target across the street from the road it's on, so that's helpful if you need to stay for an extended time. If you need a quiet and clean place to stay for an extended time, this place is nice. It was further away than I thought from the stadium, which was the main reason I was in Tampa."

"Unfortunately, the front desk woman was quite apathetic and rude about my questions and request for a bassinet and the shuttle process. She gave very vague and incomplete instructions for the shuttle it was frustrating. Find another job if you can’t provide the service customers expect!"

"Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Throughout our six-day visit, we experienced consistently rude and unhelpful behavior from staff, which made an already difficult situation even worse. Our initial room had a strong sewage smell, forcing us to relocate, which was inconvenient and frustrating. More concerning, during our stay, our passport and cash went missing from our room. While the passports were eventually returned after several stressful hours, the cash was never recovered. The way staff handled this situation was particularly upsetting. Customer service was not only ineffective but also dismissive and rude while we were trying to navigate a very serious issue. A police report has been filed, and the matter is currently under investigation. Overall, this experience felt unsafe, poorly managed, and far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Every single Employee we encountered was friendly; came off as sincere. Robin at the Palmette was an awesome waitress. Even security was amazing. I hope that the standard that we experienced remains because we intend to return. Definitely would have liked a few things more but we understood that there were still some construction projects happening. But the room we stayed in was super clean, the beds an pillows were perfect and felt new. The garage looked a little indicative of aging, but it was relatively clean and well lit. I have no complaints. I just hope there are no surprises once my bill is settled. It almost just was so seamless and lovely it is hard to believe. Food at Palmette is great but limited and restaurant closes early. We got take delivery from another restaurant and we were surprised they let the door dash person up to our room. There are pros and cons to that. So I don’t have a great opinion about that. But just a FYI. DECOR felt modern and Floridian and definitely felt NEW AND CLEAN. OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE. Beach is faux but cute. Wouldn’t get in Bay water. But it is very cute. "

"The stay was awful. First off, I was charged $550 for the stay after another hotel had failed to hold my reservation. There were bugs everywhere. There was blood stain on the bathroom floor and more blood stains on the bed sheets. We had to change our flight to leave our first thing in the morning because we could not sleep in there. It was a terrible experience."

"I’ve stayed here multiple times. This place is always clean and the staff is always accommodating. The only issue I have ever had is with the pay for parking. My room key wouldn’t let me out the gate and I had to call for help which was resolved quickly. "
