"Of four hotels on this trip, the Savoy Mactan was the only one without a single major issue. The staff is the standout: warm, helpful, and proactive. When my chiller unit wasn't cooling properly, they replaced it immediately. Note: it's a chiller, not a full refrigerator, and there's no iron or ironing board in the room. Otherwise, the room is well-equipped with modern appliances and a proper smart TV with all the major apps.
Location is a genuine plus. You're steps from restaurants, cafes, bars, groceries, laundry, a gym, and the beach, with much of it accessible within the hotel itself. Mactan's weather is also a welcome contrast to Manila's oppressive heat; expect mild temps and a consistent ocean breeze.
The surrounding area is vibrant and stays lively late into the night. I'd stay here again without hesitation for anyone wanting a relaxed, hassle-free trip with great service."
