"Best view of Mt Fuji on their rooftop patio - WOW just press R on the elevator after the 5th floor. Place is dated but damn for the price and location you can't beat it. The staff were so helpful and kind too. "

"Staying at Numazu Club was magical. It truly felt like a hidden gem. The stuff was very welcoming and made every wish possible. My financé proposed to me on the last night in the private dining room in the old tea house. It will be a place that will forever stay in our hearts. "The bedroom is exactly as shown in the pictures, and the staff are friendly. We had a great time as a family in the private onsen, and the Japanese breakfast was amazing. "
"Beautiful scenery, super close- walking distance to ride a gondola to a major world renowned attraction (volcano).
Super baby and kid friendly; we got a balcony room facing the lake which allowed us to open the screened door to get fresh air.
The onsen was clean and in excellent condition; lots of quality amenities.
Buffets were generous and quality as well. They had an unlimited sake, whiskey, wine, beer bar plus all the juices, soft drinks, tea and coffee you want. The coffee was meh; worse than Keurig, but the Japanese teas were very fine.
There were so many food options it is a little overwhelming but I think it would be nice to have a guide to introduce people to how you would do a curated kaiseki meal by course; so folks can enjoy some of that experience. "
"I liked the authentic look and theme of the onsen. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Really enjoyed my time there and the culture. Shame it was just for one night. Oh , P.S. if you intend to use the onsen, you are expected to be in there totally nude, and washed clean before getting in. Sure it's a bit weird of a custom, but worth the experience."
"Large clean room. Great view of Mt. Fuji and a lot of things within walking distance. Also very nice of them even after you checkout that they will hold onto your luggage. If you are going to hike Mt. Fuji the bus stop is right out front. Such a pleasant experience. "

Definitely avail for the free shuttle bus from Odawara station in Hakone to your hotel and back but make sure you do a reservation for this especially if you are traveling with luggage.
