We stayed one night at Sunny Island B&B in White Rock on July 31, 2026 for our Victoria vacation trip before driving back to Calgary. The room was very clean, and the owner was super kind and friendly. I highly recommend having breakfast here—you’ll enjoy a delicious homemade meal that feels just like something mom made at home :) It was a lovely and nice stay!

Room was over priced for what it was. No tv in the room - the WIFI was basically non existent, bed was decently comfortable but the pillows were not. Room was hot and stuffy - no air conditioning and fan was too noisy to sleep with it on. In the Shower the “caddy for soaps” would fall off the wall if you bumped it wrong. The house was pretty and clean. The guy that check us in was nice.

Owner was friendly and welcoming. I didn’t realize this unit had a shared bathroom, but it was no problem and very clean. The house was very quiet and I had a very good sleep. Had to leave early so can’t comment on breakfast.

We have stayed here several times and will again, when in the White Rock/Surrey area. The host/owners are lovely and go well out of their way to make certain guests feel comfortable and welcomed (and graciously accommodated inconvenient arrival/departure logistics). The gardens are wonderful, and breakfast outdoors is a lovely treat. Sunny Island is minutes away from some wonderful restaurants. We have enjoyed several takeout meals in a variety of locations on the property. Nothing but good to say, here! It has been consistently fab!

I enjoyed my stay. The king sized bed was comfortable, the bathroom with large and clean, and the room was also large. My only suggestion would be to have coffee/tea available in the room. Beautiful property with friendly and accommodating owners. Common areas very quiet and comfortable. The community kitchen has a full fridge,stove,microwave and utensils, including the all important corkscrew. I would happily stay there again.
