"When we made the reservation, the website said that parking was included. When we arrived they charged for parking at a rate of $35 per night."

"I recommend this hotel because of its proximity to the beach and the price range is very reasonable. There is no breakfast nor pool . It’s a safe place and clean . The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Parking is very easy . Also the hallway smells nice and clean. "

"I needed a place to stay over the weekend here in Santa Cruz. When looking up nearby hotels to the event I wanted to go to, this one came up as close. Expedia shows this as a 7.8/10, but when you look it up on google, it says 2/5 star hotel. The thing that made me book the hotel in the first place was the fact that it was cheap and it had advertised on Expedia that it has SOUNDPROOF ROOMS.... this is an absolute lie. Once I got in my hotel room, the people in the conjoining room were blasting their T.V. past quiet hours and I could hear every single word they were saying- full conversations as well as when their kid would cough. When I called the front desk all they did was walk up by the door and then said they didn't hear anything (I checked myself later to see if I could hear in the hallway- you can't hear anything in the hallway from inside the rooms so it was a useless check, though I appreciate it anyways). To console me they said " well they're checking out tomorrow "... well, yeah, I hope so! Anything else to do with sound is the fact that the pool is indoors sort of so you can hear all the kids screaming and playing. So, don't expect "soundproof"!"
