"Very nice Hotel, friendly staff, everything is clean and well maintained. It is located in a very quiet location bordering forests and hiking trails.

"I really enjoyed staying here but I didn’t quite feel like I got my money’s worth. If you go make sure you check the hours of the restaurant and amenities. Also the wifi doesn’t work very well. "
"The rooms are a bit run down with bathroom facilities and lighting that are still in the 70s. The hotel says has a wellness center with pool, but this is an overstatement. The pool is maybe 10 mt long, the sauna is ok, the changing room is something between a storage room and a doctor's.
the restaurant is ok, but nothing special with the waiting staff that could be more friendly "
"The hotel is perfectly located at the top of the town, just a few minutes’ walk from the Black Forest hiking trail. The rooms offer beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. The owner, Ingolf, truly cares about sustainability and has decorated the hotel with this in mind, while still staying true to its original character.
Ingolf is an exceptionally kind and welcoming host. When he learned that my wife is a designer, he personally showed us details around the hotel that might be of interest,...
"We stayed at a the hotel for a day. The breakfast was great, and the staff was attentive. The rooms were good and included all the necessary amenities."

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was three days, the staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived.
The pool and spa areas were superb, and having Black Forest Gateaux with a pot of tea by the pool was not something we expected to be able to do - but very memorable.
The breakfast was epic, it’s plain to see how very proud the chefs are, and this is reflected in the quality and range of breakfast items available.
We had guest e bikes (at no charge) we explored the local forest area, this made the hills very easy to navigate - the bikes were of excellent quality. "
"Have stayed several times -- location is convenient for us and the hotel is consistently excellent.
Found the washing machine and dryer hard to use - but did work it out eventually."
"A quiet, fairly residential location meant we weren't quite sure what to expect from this hotel.
We were delighted.
The room was the usual size but well appointed with a great powerful shower and unusually a heat lamp to help you stay cosy while getting dried!
We ate in the restaurant and the food was enjoyable. Breakfast had a good selection of items too.
We used the garage to park our cycles and the racks were easy to access and seemed secure. The town centre wasn't too far away and there was nice parkland nearby for walks."
"Very friendly welcome and pleasant room. However the noise from the lift was very unwelcome and went on until midnight. We were in room 41 first after reception and also had noise from other guests as they passed our door. Otherwise a very nice hotel and lovely buffet dinner and breakfast."
"We had a lovely stay in a family suite. Spacious and modern. We would have liked a balcony, however. The beds were comfortable enough, the internet worked great, even when we had several devices connected. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet doesn't have loads of choice, but is tasty. The evening meals are the same. A small amount of options and small portions, but delicious.
The pools are great and the pool area is clean, with complimentary tea, coffee and water to drink.
The walks around the hotel reward you with stunning views."
