"The hotel is clean, people are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is on the good area in old city, very Turkish, a lot of restaurants around, markets, shops. I had the breakfast included, it was colorful, delicious, have savory, sweet, fruits and everything that a person is looking to eat in the morning. I highly recommend it. Hotel offers all info for trips also."

"Great location, right next to the Blue Mosque and in old town. Very charming hotel was an old palace. Very nice front yard with fountain and vistas the back yard with many seatings overlooking the water with great views. A hidden jewel. The breakfast buffet was included serviced in a wonderful sitting "

"This was my first time in Turkey and we stayed about 9 days. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so close to everything. We walked almost everywhere: Hagia Sophia, Blue Dome Mosque, Basilica (which were 20 feet from the hotel), Grand Bazaar, and close by to restaurants that you did not have to use or pay for any transportation. (Avoid taxis at ALL costs, if you can). It is better to find one of the all day rental companies with the black vans and pay a set fee before you use the taxi. Also, the tram was cheap and quick. The staff were very nice at the hotel and the breakfast was very good. If you eat their breakfast, honestly, you won't need a lunch. They had such a good assortment of choices: soup, eggs, Turkish sausage, olives, yogurts, breads, fruit, veggies, and the CHEESES!!!! This hotel will pay for itself. The staff were helpful and all spoke English on some level. The hotel is not modern, but Istanbul is an old city. It was charming to stay at and the windows facing the street would open to let us get a cool breeze which I appreciated very much. The other room we got had a Juliette balcony which was an A+! The hotel provided us with a very user friendly map at check-in and it saved us so much time and helped us choose the places to visit. I read the posts from some of the other experiences after I made the reservation, but before we stayed here. I really can genuinely recommend this hotel for you and your family. Safe Travels."
