"This is the nicest airport hotel I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at a lot. From the van picking me up to the inexpensive shuttle taking me to the wharf area, it was surprisingly wonderful. The room was delightful--with everything I could possibly want including a small jug of milk for coffee I made in the room. A couple shortbread cookies saved me when I woke up at 2 am hungry due to my long-haul travel. Breakfast was just perfect. A very nice chef made me an excellent omelet made with real eggs. It was cool but I checked out the nature walks in the hotel's back yard. What a nice surprise for an airport hotel. "

"Book this! You will not regret it. We just returned from a beautiful stay at Clouds and we couldn’t be happier. It was by far the best choice - stunning location, rooms, pool, food(!) and most importantly the staff. We will 100% be returning. We have travelled to a lot of 5* properties around worlds and this was truly special. A good point to note is that it’s right next door to the Delaire Graff Estate which is worth a visit for wine tasting, or lunch/dinner (they offer a free shuttle service). Also right beside some spectacular wineries, Tokara & Bartinney."

"My husband and I stayed five nights end of April 2026 at Coopmanhuijs. From check in to check out, the staff made our visit perfect. We stayed in room #11. The room was super clean, the bathroom very spacious, and the little balcony to relax in the evening was perfect. The included breakfast was very delicious with fruits, pastries, and lots of dishes made to order. We also had dinner there three nights during our stay as those dishes were equally delicious. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made our trip even more special. If staying in Stellenbosch, I highly recommend staying with them, you surely will not be disappointed."

"The room we stayed in was very basic with no-frills. No door to the bathroom, and no shower door. If you need more privacy when using the bathroom, this isn't for you. But I understand there may be more luxurious rooms available, hopefully, that offer this. Room also needed maintenance (e.g. shower not draining). Outside parking is an issue, and the surrounding area is a bit dodgy, albeit very close to the beach. We did have a nice breakfast on the premises, though."
