"Everything was beautiful, clean room, fresh breakfast and easy parking"

"Lovely staff and breakfast. The room itself was good but cleanliness could be improved. Mould around shower and hairs on floors esp in corners with dust. Glass doors covered in bird poo. Comfortable bed but lumpy pillows. Very lively hotel in the centre of Exeter so do take earplugs if you want a quiet nights sleep. "

"Stayed one night for music event nearby. Location perfect for walking into city centre & train station. Very clean, food good, beds super comfy. Kettle, tea, coffee & towels all available to use in our room. Staff very friendly & attentive. Parking at rear was FOC - nice perk! Very quiet at night - our room was at rear. After returning from our gig on a cold wet April night, it was so so nice to open the front door and the central heating had been put on. 😊"

"The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the city centre and cathedral. It is a historic building but we stayed in the fairly modern extension, which was a nice, spacious room with good facilities for tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was plentiful and you could order from a good range of cooked options including full English. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Managed free overnight parking opposite. Worked well combined with family visit. Had a quiet en-suite room plus a bathtub. What a treat. Offerred lots choices for breakfast - standard cost for all options. All the staff I met were lovely. Very friendly and it felt more like a family business than merely ‘corporate’."
