"We stayed in one of the 2 rooms overlooking the canal which made the entire weekend! view was amazing, central hotel. We didn't have breakfast but it is available for 16euro pp. You have to appreciate the building is old and therefore expect its quirkiness. The room did have dust around the beams and was very noisy AM as underneath the breakfast area. I would stay here again as location was perfect "

"Location is the key and this hotel is 1 minute walk to the main square. Bathroom was dated and shower pointed at the wall rather than down. It needs replacing. Mirror also had a massive crack. But it’s a 2 star so I guess that’s the reason why"

"This is a lovely hotel close to the historic centre. We had a luxury room and couldn’t fault it. The breakfast was buffet style with a very good selection and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We would be happy to return to this hotel. "

"First off: STAFF IS GREAT and very accommodating! Negatives: As beautiful as it is, our room was on 2 levels. This is challenging because the bedroom upstairs with 1/2 bath was UPSTAIRS and the full bathroom and shower were downstairs. The stairs are STEEP, narrow and winding. Not for older travelers with a recent knee replacement with luggage. See photos. Perhaps this layout would not deter younger or more fitful travelers but for us, it wasn’t a good fit. PLUSES: Centrally located clean and quiet. Lovely appointed and beautifully decorated. Excellent helpful staff. "
