Hotel Aragon

8/10 Good
"Our room was a large top floor in the separate access with stairs up from the lift. It was beautifully clean, modern and well-presented although the bathroom was a bit small for a room of this category in a 4* hotel. There were two double wardrobes with a safe and minibar but no drawers. There was a pods coffee machine but no kettle for making tea. We had a very good buffet breakfast on the last day. I recommend La Trappe, a basement bar with vaulted ceilings next door to the Aragon House annexe for an amazing selection of Belgian beers. We were only a few minutes walk from the Market and a 1 or 2 bus from the Stadschouwberg to Brugge Station so it is very convenient."

"Really lacked of enclosed showering, Not used to shower in an open bath. Guests in the room above you could literally hear every step and move. 3rd floor and no lift does not help but since its historic building we can let this go. 2 windows overlooking the canal had beds at them so €330 a night with canal view wasnt quite with canal view unless you open window and peak out while sitting on the bed."
