6/10 Okay

"Initially the location for us attending the abba voyage show was great. Tube and DLR 2 min walk and westfield 5 min walk for restaurants and shops. Check in and breakfast good. Unfortunately a few negatives did affect our overall stay and these would make me probably not rebook. On a hot day in london, the rooms are advertised as having A/C. This is not the case, its centrally controlled, meaning this can not be adjusted using the thermonstat in the room. Therefore our room was 25.5 degrees. This became unbearable. This wasnt helped by the fact that if we opened a window, there was no breeze but also workman were working on the building only 3 to 4 metres from our window. The noise of drilling and work was noisy and this started at 7.30 in the morning. We were not informed prior to or during check in, that any building work was being carried out during our stay. This is just common curiosity. The room itself was clean and spacious. The remote for the tv was however temperamental, this meant that we were unable to turn it off for over an hour when we were ready to sleep. Maybe the batteries were low? This should be checked routinely during housekeeping. The shower room although seemed clean, did have a lingering unpleasant smell of drains. Thankfully this did not travel into the mean room."

"The staff were very helpful and polite. The lobby was very comfy, as was the bed in the room. Stayed nice and cool in there during the heatwave. Very solid climate control. Room was already cool when I got there, which was a nice touch. Didn't really use any of the amenities. Pool table in the reception area wasn't working for some reason. They mentioned they were replacing it in the next few days. Very good place to stay if you're working in the wharf and need to stay overnight or if you're visiting London in general. Close to both the DLR and Elizabeth lines. Also buses to Stratford, the Isle of Dogs and Blackheath. Amazing views. A+. Would absolutely stay again."

"I stayed at this hotel for several nights, the room was clean and quiet, although it was cold (17 C) as I could not adjust the temperature by the thermostat. The location initially appeared to be difficult to get to as I had a long walk from the Metro (Overground). I later found that there is a bus route that stops by very close to the hotel, so I was able to use that which made it very convenient. The restaurant was large and spacious. The scenery is very good as it is located on the riverside which affords views of the office buildings across the river."

"I was welcomed by a free upgrade to a one bedroom suite in a connected building. We use the o2 regularly and we were disappointed with the standard of apartments in comparison to the hotel. This actually felt a downgrade and was disappointing given the price we paid for the hotel rooms which we enjoy. Our group had 5 apartments. The tv didn’t work in two rooms and the air con failed to keep any of the rooms clean. Everything on the hotel side was lovely however we would prefer not to be “upgraded” to the apartments in future"

10/10 Excellent

"Property was close to transit, no more than a 10 minutes walk and you are close to the water with parks around. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room itself was small but very functional. AC was very much welcome as the time was really hot , heat wave while i was there."
