"Nice stay. A solid hotel that was about 30 minutes outside of New York City."

"Checking in at the front desk, which had a Plexiglass screen, did not give a good first impression. While we were checking in, another guest was complaining to another receptionist about the fact that he had been at the hotel for 3 days and that the TV in his room was still not working despite having complained each day. From there, we took the elevator, which was painted red in the company colors. However, there was a 2 - 3 square inch section of the red paint that had flaked off revealing part of the previous owner's logo. From there, we got off the elevator at the 4th floor and walked along the corridor to our room. Halfway to our room, There was a plastic waste bin in the middle of the floor to catch water dripping from the ceiling. the mattresses in our room were decades old. That said, we slept OK, but on the way out, there was only coffee available. Breakfast is not served. Definitely not up to the standard of other hotels in the area."

"I just returned from my first stay at the Stamford and can only say great things about the staff, particularly the front desk people. Daniel (front desk manager) and Maria were unfailingly helpful no matter how trivial the question, and that set the tone for my five-day visit. I'll be traveling to Stamford regularly over the next several weeks and have already booked my next reservation."

"When we arrived, the room had not been properly cleaned. We spoke with the housekeeping staff, who cleaned the room very quickly, but unfortunately it was still not properly clean afterward. I raised the issue with the housekeeper, and she seemed unhappy about the complaint and began speaking in Spanish, apparently assuming that I would not understand. Proper bathroom cleaning is essential. The toilet was dirty, which is unacceptable and reflects a lack of attention to hygiene standards. Greater care and quality in room cleaning are clearly necessary."

"I believe the hotel management—or at least the person responsible—should be replaced. The elevator was out of service, and there was no notice or information posted about it, which was especially inconvenient since I was staying on the 8th floor. The breakfast was disappointing. There was no fresh milk available, only poor-quality boxed milk. In addition, the food items were not replenished regularly. It would be better not to offer breakfast at all than to provide such inadequate service. There is also no daily housekeeping. I requested room cleaning for three consecutive days and was given the same excuse each time: that the hotel was fully booked. If that is the case, the hotel should hire more housekeeping staff and provide them with proper equipment to perform their duties efficiently. Finally, the hotel appears to be under endless renovation, which significantly affects guests’ comfort and overall experience."
