Home Away From Home

This is my go-to hotel when I'm in Stamford, CT. Target is close by if I need anything. Front desk staff is so nice, so helpful, from where to eat to bus routes to taxi service. I plan to come back just to get away and relax one day soon.

Newer property, so in good shape. The breakfast is a joke (eggs and sausage, or rubber egg and sausage bagel). Construction on the road to the valet (temporary), the room was not cleaned well and the heat would not change the temperature of the room.

Beautiful room. Spacious. We did arrive to dirty dishes in the dishwasher but otherwise room was very clean. Valet was a problem. We were told to give 20 minutes to pick up our car from when we texted for it but ended up waiting over 40 and arrived at our next engagement late because of it.

This is a disaster, not a hotel. My main complain is that they didn't even supply tooth paste/tooth brushes, unless you asked for it at the reception. If you're paying over $700 for two nights this should be the least of your concerns. They advertise that the hot tub is included but they omit that it takes walking through outdoors in a windy 40-degree weather over to their sister hotel company next door. My toddler son got a cold because of this nonsense. As you walk into the lobby you got to navigate around the busy placement of furniture and a column just to get to the elevator, who designed this place?

With room’s air conditioner, I couldn’t get warmer and get fresh air in the room because the window cannot be opened. The property’s central heating system only helps us get warmer but this is operated by the temperature difference between outside and inside. Instead, I got cold.

The only good feature about this hotel is the location. CVS , Target and restaurants all walking distance . Problems experienced ; 1. Beds HORRIBLE . Lumpy , Need new mattresses. Back ache every morning . 2. Free shuttle not available . States runs until 8pm no such thing . ends at 7pm For evening hours limited hours in morning and limited availability . 3. Had family pick me up at hotel and front desk told them nobody was staying in room. Front desk staff clueless. 4 . Breakfast lousy . Only good item was waffle . Eggs terrible , no breakfast meat other then sausage which was also terrible . They close doors 15mins early on breakfast . Advertise they have a Starbucks .No such thing . 2 coffee decanters with 2 bottles of flavor sitting next to decanters. 5. When I received my car heat seaters on both seats were cranked up to high . I believe staff or others ? were in my car keeping warm. 6. Lobby space terrible , uninviting and not comfortable, 7. New age music piped in enough to make one go mad . 8. Constant Motor Noise from outside building not sure if a type of generator ? very annoying runs 24/7 which can be heard in the room .

The room was nice and modern as well as the gym. They advertised a pool and a hot tub but in reality they are part of the property next moor so you have to go out in the cold to use those facilities and the hot in was not hot. The heater was broken.
