Only slight downside is that the proximity to other guests means sitting outside can be a little bit of an exercise in hearing other people’s conversation! "Great location and Wonderful staff. Property now getting a refit which it needs, but it was still a lovely place to stay. Food was excellent and the log fire in the evenings after a good meal and a couple of drinks was perfect. Thoroughly recommend staying here and i will be back to to visit again."

"We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!"

"Great location in city center and close to the ferry terminal. Fully stocked kitchen, if you wanted to cook. The only thing that was a disappointment was that there were no paper towels, napkins, tissues, shampoo, shower gel or soap provided. Very unusual for a vacation rental. Other than that I would Highly recommend. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay"

"the resort is undergoing major renovations and we were warned about this beforehand. All the leisure facilities were close but the grounds are lovely. We hope they keep the family cottages once the renovations are complete."

"The Accomodation has all amenities and comfort including large bath and the nice touch of a DVD collection. Kitchen has all you need. But it is completely blind (there are windows but you need to keep blinds down so it’s dark!) which the listing avoided showing with great success. We were imagining a small stable with an open space or a bit of a view but even the back mini courtyard is completely fenced off and the windows give onto a passageway. The stable is actually two accommodations so...
