"Great hotel in Edinburgh by Murrayfield Stadium, so not in the heart of the city, but easy buses just outside the hotel to get you there. I really like the hotel, but the rooms are dated and need a renovation, although that is not a major negative. If the rooms could be spruced up the hotel would be exceptional if you prefer staying in non-chain hotels. "
"The Hoxton was a nice, comfortable, convenient hotel close to the city centre for all touristy things. Our room was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed staying here. "
"Great stay. We were only there one night but we will definitely be back. Lovely building and the rooms are huge, everything is so carefully thought out. We loved the honesty shop and breakfast, and my daughter loved the little toy area. "
"Stayed for 4 nights with work and enjoyed the new furnishings, the shower was hot and powerful, the bed comfy with plenty of pillows.
Everything you needed for a pleasant stay"
"The hotel is well located for easy access by train or tram to High street and the Royal Mile. The breakfast is
a good option for a quick bite before heading out sightseeing for the day. The staff was kind enough to hold our luggage while we were on a tour as we returned to the hotel after. "
"Likes - checking-in was easy and check-in staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and spacious enough.
Breakfast was buffet-style and had adequate choices for my needs.
There is a good bus service into Edinburgh city centre.
Dislikes - my room overlooked the neighbouring restaurant so early evening was a bit noisy. "
"Older hotel but had a good atmosphere.. they have a breakfast and dinner buffet that has many items .. Staff were very helpful to make sure our stay was enjoyable."

"5 stars. They granted us a much earlier checkin than we expected. The only obstacle was the flight of stairs up to the checkin area. No ramp made heavy suitcases even heavier. But it was a perfect location and friendly staff. "
"Excellent service, excellent hotel, clean and comfortable, excellent shower! Very delicious and unlimited coffee, pleasant bar!
Definitely would stay again!
"
"Overall was average, but we kind of knew what to expect. Nothing too bad.
The positive was the size of the family room. It was really spacious. Downsides were the bunk beds were next to the lift shaft which was a little noisy and the room had no air con and it was a bit warm."
"The hotel is probably priced as a cheap option but it is anything but! It’s about a 15 min walk to the city. 2 modern art galleries on its doorstep and a scenic walk from the river leith. As for the actual hotel it’s amazing!! From management to housekeeping, maintenance and front of desk and obviously the bar staff 😊 are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life and they go out and there way to help. Can’t thank them enough for making me feel loved "
"Room was clean and tidy
T.V was a bit shaky
Staff were polite and friendly
Location was great, right opposite the main bus route first hotel that had decaf teabags and dairy free alternatives for breakfast
Parking was a bit pricey and the hotel could notify people that there is on street parking 25 yards away
