"The parking situation is ABYSMAL. No carts, no staff, and the TWO nice men out front were overwhelmed and being yelled at with ZERO support from management. The a/c was off in the elevators and hallways; we had no shampoo in our shower; the water was not hot; the constant slamming of the door where the maintenance folks were housed on the 17th floor all night long the first night we were there was absurd; and the front desk staff at check-in were exceptionally rude and dismissive. (Note: the young man at checkout this morning was quite kind and helpful.) I am disappointed in the downfall of this hotel over the past few years. It’s in the middle of one of the best places to be, which is why I suppose it doesn’t matter how disappointing it is because you’re assured business anyway, but it’s a sad space a once beloved resting spot for us has become. I suppose we are a Marriott family now. "

"The Starbucks located in the hotel was Horrible…. Beware- they are not truly associated however makes the stay less pleasant. "

"Hotel was great for our purposes to watch the US men’s soccer match. Breakfast was great and the staff were super friendly. Only real issue was waiting for the elevator to get to our room. The rest was perfect!"

"Staff is nice. Hotel is cool. Rooms are just okay. Basic needs for a hotel room are covered (clean bed, clean shower and TV). Was expecting a little more especially for a downtown hotel. No iron or ironing board. No streaming apps on the tv. Self checkout for snacks and sodas like we do at Target. "

"All is good. Only complaint is the shower set up, curtains are so slight high that the water coming down drips onto the floor , and then the shower head isn’t secured correctly that water sprayed out over the curtain on the floor having to use the small towel to block it from wetting the floor more, lastly sink is very very small and no where to place the soap. Aside from that the breakfast was fantastic and beds were comfortable, definitely will come back again!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Phoenix Atlanta Downtown. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel was truly flawless, every detail felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully cared for. The customer service was equally impressive. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. Valet parking was exceptional, especially considering the challenges of nearby construction and the large crowds from local events. The team handled everything smoothly and efficiently, which made a big difference in our overall experience. One of the best features is the location. The hotel sits directly across the street from both State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, making it an easy and safe walk to events, no stress, no hassle. We also appreciated the thoughtful in-room touches like reasonably priced drinks and snacks, along with the cozy, comfortable robes. It really added to the experience. For everything you receive, the hotel is very reasonably priced. We’ll absolutely be staying here again for future events, this will be our go-to spot in Atlanta! "
