We were visiting from out of town and our departing flight wasn’t until 8 pm but check out was at 11 am, the person at the front desk Joseph allowed us to leave our luggage with Denzel ("

"Jawana was a great help. She spent so much time on the phone with me making sure that we got adjoining rooms for our kids. Location was great as we were there to visit the aquarium and the world of coke. The only drawback was no TV for the kids for the whole stay."

"This was the first time my husband & I stayed at The American Hotel, we've stayed at plenty of Hilton Hotels in the past. From the moment we parked our car with Valet to the moment we checked out we were pleasantly surprised with ALL the staff!! The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown is a very clean and nicely designed hotel. When we were looking for food after checking in, the front desk staff suggested we try the wings and fries at the restaurant inside the Hotel, which turned out to be a hit!! We choose this Hotel because it is walking distance to the State Farm Arena where we were attending an event. Walking there we noticed lots of things to do. I didn't get everyone's name but at some point I did interact with Renee who just happened to give me a card with her name. Thanks Renee and Team you guys were great and very helpful. "This hotel was walks away from the state farm arena. Roof top cafe, bless your heart (is the name) was awesome. The food was great and the concierge (Velecia) was great!! You won't be disappointed. The hotel opened December 2025. I gave 4 stars for service because their were several miscommuncations regarding the cleaning services. The front desk did not inform the vendor that my room had a pickup for Laundry, albeit the clothes arrived back to the hotel on time. This hotel is definitely my go to spot when I return to Atlanta in the future."
