"I stayed at the Red Lion Hotel recently, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The room was not very clean, and both the beds and bedding looked old and worn out. The smell from the sheets and towels was extremely strong — I’m not sure if it was from the detergent or disinfectant they use, but it was very unpleasant.
Another issue was that the hotel does not clean the rooms daily, but nobody informs you about this at check-in. We only found out after asking why our room had not been cleaned. Also, the phone in the room was disconnected, so anytime we needed assistance, we had to walk all the way to the front desk, which was very far from the room we were given.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the service and cleanliness of this hotel, and I would not stay here again."
