Top Southwest Michigan Hotel Reviews
Holiday Inn Express & Suites St Joseph by IHG
8/10 Good
"We stayed in a king room on the first floor. The room itself was just okay. While it was mostly remodeled, there were some issues. The sliding door in the shower leaked so much that our bathroom floor was soaked after anyone showered for more than 5 minutes. The fan in the bathroom was very old, loud, and useless, our entire room was so humid during our stay that we kept having to ask for new towels because the ones we used simply would not dry, even after 48 hours of being hung over a towel bar. While the room was mostly updated, the bathroom door was very old and pretty gross. The textured walls and the window well were dusty. Our window had cobwebs. The indoor pool and hot tub need a facelift, as well. The window wells were full of cobwebs and our feet got dirty from walking on the pool deck. Highlights: The lobby was bright and clean and fully updated. Breakfast was free and the coffee was great. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The location can’t be beat. 10 minutes to Silver Beach. 7 minutes to the shops and restaurants in downtown St. Joseph. I don’t know if we would stay here again because the humidity in our room made it uncomfortable. Maybe we got a bad room? It seems like people on the second floor enjoyed their stay more than we did. Again, great staff, but the hotel needs some work."
The Boulevard Inn & Bistro
10/10 Excellent
"This place is really nice, excellent location, friendly staff, comfy beds. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and had a corner room so views of both town and the lake. Walking distance to the beach and downtown. Highly recommend."

"Very quiet no road noise at all"
Silver Beach Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great location. The room was very clean. Public areas had a lot of funky odors from the pool, to vomit, to strong curry smells. Once we arrive to our room, it was all very pleasant and the bed and pillows were comfortable."

"Room was clean. Hotel was clean. Didn’t like breakfast as everything tasted artificial."
Quality Inn Sawyer

"Room was clean and close to lake. Great budget option. Breakfast was basic but good. Only issue was the room smelled of smoke. Everything else was great."

"u liked the biscuits and gravy at breakfast. However, it would have been better if the biscuits were warmed."
