Room was clean, staff were friendly, waterpark was great! It’s closed during the week, but they will open it for guests. The large slides don’t run during the week, but my boys had a blast having the waterpark to themselves for 2 days! Breakfast was good and the lobby has an excellent seating area! Great location off 94 and near some good restaurants. Our bathtub wasn’t clean but we just dealt with it since it was a short stay. Otherwise we had an excellent stay.

The hotel has been remodeled. The rooms were spotless and staff was more than polite. We had a great time at the water park. Small enough so your kids could run around and you could see them at all times.

Just here for a quick night. It’s very comfortable and has everything we need for this one-night stay. We were a bit perplexed when we informed the front desk that the smoke alarm in our room was beeping, instead of coming to replace the battery it likely needed, they told us to take off the wall. I wasn’t in fear of a fire, but surely disengaging safety devices isn’t the most sensible way to proceed through life.

This is definitely a work in progress. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet for the most part and the staff was very friendly. It's clear a family has taken on the job of restoring this property to a new, beautiful standard. I was pleased with the location, the price and our room. The elevator is a little scary at the moment, but I'm sure it will be fixed. I look forward to seeing it fully restored.

The staff was so kind and accommodating. The building was receiving some repairs while we were there, but it was very clean. Great location and only a short drive from anything you may need. The local restaurants are wonderful. The water park was perfect for us. I would definitely stay again.

They just need to fix the elevator because when going up to the 3rd floor and it stops, it drops and make a loud banging noise. I was terrified to use it after that because I cannot navigate stairs very easily due to severe knee issues.

Honestly, I was the only guest in the hotel… The room I got was the handicapped room. The blinds were billed past the AC unit when I walked in. I had to stand on their already broken chair to roll it up manually to see outside. Then in the bathroom the tub drain was missing, the overflow cover on the tub was also missing, exposed wires where I believe the emergency string should be for someone who was handicapped but was non existent. For $99/night it’s quite the rip off to be honest. I asked the front desk folks for a good place to eat locally and they recommended an Indian restaurant inside the Marathon gas station and Subway — that’s crazy. The hotel was clean, but everything else made the experience pretty bad. I’m glad I only stayed one night. If there’s only a single guest in the entire hotel, you’d think they’d give you their best room… Instead I got one that was in need of a serious face lift.

Convenient but not cheap

It was great to find a place to stay nearby cousins cottage in Coloma. The hotel has seen better days and it want cheap. But the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean.
