Southern Kyoto hotel rooms a the Keihan

"This is a very big hotel located right next to Kyoto station. It has taxi stations out in the front of the hotel; one for foreigners and one for citizens. So very convenient for managing traveling. Yes, you can hear the trains going by from inside the room since the station is right next to the hotel. However it did not prevent us from sleeping well. "

"The room and entire hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and they also spoke English which was great. The cleaning service was perfect. The location was amazing- close to convenience stores, restaurants, temples and the subway. The only issue was the laundry service- the clothes wouldn’t dry despite running multiple drying cycles. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel."
