"Deluxe twin was like a mini apartment with everything you need including a washer and dryer on the main floor. Close and convenient to restaurants and rail station. Would have been nice to have an extra pillow on each bed for a little more comfort. A great stay overall."

"Tucked in a quiet street with easy access to restaurants and public transport this hotel made our stay perfect. They have easy access to good complementary coffee, tea etc in the communal area."

"I've stayed in these properties three times now and am always satisfied - the location is prime, and I love the traditional Japanese elements of the inn as well as the narrow cobblestone streets full of classic machiya."

"Good location, great hosts. "

"Really nice clean ryokan in a quiet part of the neighbourhood. Has everything you need. Walking distance to restaurants and the train station. It was great to experience this style of accommodation. Felt like we were really immersed in the local area and very different to the hotel experience. "

"The stay was fantastic! They made us feel very welcomed and the rooms are big. Everything was very clean. "

"Everything was great here! It was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, calming, and peaceful. The house was stalked with all the amenities and the staff was amazing. It was so worth it!"

"1階の「鴨」という部屋に泊まりました。大通りの車の音は全く聞こえず、落ち着いて滞在できました。部屋の設備はシンプルながら高級感があり、中でも檜風呂は贅沢な気分になれました。 子連れで外食するには不便な立地だと感じました。部屋にミニキッチンがあり、食器やお茶類も揃っているので、おばんざいを買ってきて部屋で食べるのも良いと思います。"

"We spent four nights during our 2 week visit to Japan. We were a family of five with 3 kids under 7 years old. We loved the location as it is located closer to the train station also plenty of dining options nearby. Only concern was the bedsheets don't get changed which we did not like. Despite that overall had a great experience."

"By far the best place I’ve stayed at in Japan I will definitely be back!"

"The staff were extremely friendly and spoke English. Overall a great experience. "

"It was tucked into a little neighborhood and we were able to enjoy small, hidden restaurants and bakeries easily from the location."

"It states "Hotel" through Expedia but it is more like authentic vacation home. Great for two people, heating was spotty, great Tea room and smoke area in back patio. Very close to Inari Shrines and JR station lines and a 3min walk from a grocery store. "

"Accessible, quiet, easy check in and check out"
