"There was several disruptions while staying there. They shut off the water unexpectedly twice, once without warning, but both times left my wing without functioning restrooms. There was major construction during my stay without warning. Likewise they entered to spray for pests without my consent. Nice property but very poorly managed…"

"Beware that if you request an ocean view room, you are likely going to get a large view of the lobby roof top and and tiny view of the ocean to the side. They were kind of sneaky about this. Some people are okay with a view of the roof top but if you are turned off by looking out and seeing a black flat surface for your ocean view. you really need to request an ocean view. pool was good as well as the restaurant"

"Barbara and her team at the Dragonfly Ranch make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. It was such a treat for my birthday getting to spend a full 8 days alongside my husband in this beautiful jungle oasis, filled with meaningful and spiritual conversations, cuddles with the community of loving and therapeutic pets, and lots of laughs. This really is a retreat and sanctuary for the people who embrace it as such, providing a welcome escape from daily distractions and positive healing energy for those who need it - whether they consciously realize it or not. We highly recommend planning for an extended stay here in order to fully enjoy the impact of its caretakers and energy on your mind, body, heart, and soul."

"Beautiful resort but still needs a lot of maintenance. The most frustrating part was paying the resort fee and parking fee, but watching many local residents use the facilities freely. The family pool was overcrowded with residents, not guests. The pools were supposed to close at 10PM, but on our evening walks we saw a lot of inappropriate behavior in the pools. Wondering how the facility is monitored, because it didn’t seem like there was any rule enforcement."

"Loved the property ocean view lots of room the only thing is I wish their fans would work or they had an AC unit I had to buy extra fans it was hot and couldn’t relax with the heat but it was beautiful I recommend if you don’t mind no AC"

"This is our third time staying here. We love how spacious the room is. The bedroom, laundry, dining area, second bathroom, kitchen, and balcony really make for a relaxing homey stay. The only thing that could be better is if we could get a room with an ocean view someday. Those seem to be reserved for Timeshare owners. The location is great too, just up the hill are some nice restaurants and down the hill is Kahalu’u beach and 20min south is Kona coffee country! We’ll be back!"
