It was nice that we had a bath as well as a shower, it was nice that you could borrow fluffy bathrobes, it was nice that there was a restaurant on site and it was close to other places to eat. It was very good value compared to the other places I looked at nearby"

"Breakfast was wonderful. The location was excellent. The hotel itself was in decent shape, but the lift was broken and four floors were difficult to navigate with suitcases. One gentleman at the desk was willing to help, though."

"Beautiful hotel with lovely big rooms, ate in the main restaurant the food was delicious with lots of variety, on the downside our room overlooked the main road opposite the pubs and the noise was deafening, stopped around 3am.final verdict is lovely rooms and hotel but overpriced drinks and too noisy if staying in a road facing room."

"Nice hotel, very central, and great to have onsite parking which even though cost £18 was still cheaper than any other carpark around. It does need updating and some TLC but our room was clean and everything we needed for a good night's sleep, after all we were out all day and just needed a base. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also good value for money"
