Hotels near South Beach

"Hotel Tybee is in a great location. It's very nice having access to the beach and then also to Savannah a short drive away. The room was well maintained. We always love having a microwave in the room (dining leftovers). Many of the hotels we've stayed in as of late have no microwave. There was an issue with one of the elevators not working. However, when we mentioned it to the front desk staff they were very attentive and the maintenance technician took care of it. We definitely plan on returning to this hotel. We love the location, plus ... BEACH!!"

"The room was very clean except the shower curtain was about a foot too long and that part sat in the shower floor. It was nasty dirty. I spoke with Kensley at the front desk and she made it right. I really appreciated her helping me. "

"The hotel is very retro and so cute. It is very convenient to the beach and easy to get around town from. We loved it and will definitely come back. The staff is so friendly and if i had a complaint it would just be the floor seemed a little dirty but at the beach im sure all seem that way. "

"A lot of black scuff marks and dirty corners and baseboards. Did not feel clean. Fridge ice and water panel falling off. Bedspread and blanket in 1 of rooms visibly soiled. Called management for linens to be changed and only a blanket was brought in and paced on bed."

"The property was very nice, clean and close to the beach. The owners really paid attention to detail when they were flipping this property. Also, the bed was great, very comfortable. There were a few things that irked me: (1) taking out the trash (why did I pay a cleaning fee?); (2) the 4 p.m. check-in with a 10 a.m. checkout. Too late and too early. Lastly, the contract was overly long and oppressive. Felt like there was a contingency for everything. Made me a little paranoid. Overall, would definitely stay again. "
