"The posting was incredibly dishonest. This is a basement. No view, tiny windows above eye level, noise from above late into the night, and stairwell that enters in the middle of the room which leads to the owner's house, I assume into the kitchen given the noise and the constant turning on and off of lights which kept us awake. The pictures show a front porch and the main house, no clear indication you'll be in the basement. If this were posted honestly as a basement unit at a fair price for such it would be a perfectly fine accommodation, but the posting was absolutely misleading and I feel the owners are ripping people off. This was our first vacation after having a baby, and we were incredibly disappointed."

"The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update it."
