Did not sleep all night, the noise from the below Alien night club and the strip bar from 10pm to 7am was ABYSMAL! Also booked with Expedia at one cost and was charged DOUBLE at the property. Breakfast was OK and edible.

Pros: clean room, decent linens, no carpet on bedroom floor, near train station, less expensive than most other hotels in area Cons: The immediate area is a little tired looking, common area of hotel is tiny and cramped, VERY basic, dull lighting in bedroom Overall: clean, basic, but certainly not impressive

Hotel needs a good clean

Hotel is lokking a little ropey around the edges. The carpet on the corridors was filthy and needs a good clean. The lift also was quite dirty. The room itself was clean but basic. The bed however was comfortable. There was no remote for the TV so had to operate manually. Breakfast was OK but nothing special.

Very good stay!

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive to customer needs. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good quality and a fairly decent variety of options. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Carlisle.
