The breakfast was great and plentiful, which was awesome for our family who left right after to go on a white water rafting trip, so to have had breakfast handled for us was wonderful. "

"Room was very simple but clean and in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bathroom worked well. The views from the property are outstanding, so definitely walk around a bit. There is a nice cafe next to the hotel that has great pizzas (not the cafeteria in the hotel; we had the included breakfast there and it was okay, but not great). The only other thing I would mention is that they did not have any shampoo, just soap for the shower. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to check in earlier than I expected. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was a pleasant surprise. "
"A very beautiful setting, one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. The park across the fjord is full of interesting Norwegian families, lots of children.
It was fun watching them playin the water."
"This is a mountain lodge - rustic conditions outside, but you'll find a very comfy bed on the inside. Stayed in the hotel and had two twin beds with comforters. I am hot-blooded so the Comforter was a bit much for me, but my wife was cold with one, so she asked for another. Shower was excellent and powerful! Dinner was excellent and the breakfast was a Nordic continental. Cured Fish, Cold Cuts/Cheese, H.B.Eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, home baked bread and jams, etc. Healthy and it will keep you full while hiking. A bit out of the way, but isn't that what we are looking for in the wilderness? If it wan't so far from the US, I would be staying here on all of my hiking adventures."
