Family friendly Hotels in Shunyi, Beijing

"I will say that if you’re expecting a 5 star hotel like the states, you’re in for a surprise. The lobby and outside is currently undergoing construction and the lobby just feels a bit drab. HOWEVER, the room is quite new and it’s very comfortable. In addition, the staff is EXCELLENT. They assisted me with weighing my bags, packing it up, and even bringing it up and down to my room. I would say I feel like I’ve gotten better service here than some of the traditional 5star Hiltons or Marriott’s. It’s also an excellent location - with line 5 and line 8 nearby. There’s a bunch of shopping and food at Wangfujing and it’s all walkable. Definitely would recommend!"

"This is a very affordable hotel considering it's located close to Wangfujing shopping area and super close to the subway station. The laundry facility is a great feature as well for travelers. Mr. Li, the concierge manager is so nice and accommodating I give him 5-stars for his excellent service. Mr. Hsiung"

"Very conveniently located, breakfast spread was very good. Friendly reception staff, and in particular, outstanding concierge team. They provided useful information on tours when I queried about them via email before my stay, and haloed to reserve a table at Make in China, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, in advance. When my teenager girl has problems with the delivery of stuff she purchased on Taobao, concierge staff was very helpful in helping to resolve the matter. But Make in China restaurant is overrated. "

"This hotel is centrally located in Beijing city, close to many attractions. The forbidden city and Wangfujing are within short walking distance. There is also a Subway station right around the corner. All staffs were friendly and helpful: front desk, Bell service, Concierge, housekeeping, fitness center, etc. I highly recommend this place. If you haven’t been to Beijing before, be aware of busy traffic around this area. Electric Bikes do not follow traffic rules. "
