"We had a lovely stay at The Black Horse Hotel. There is plenty of parking. We had a family room which was very clean and an ample size. All the linen was crisp and clean and the towels were lovely, soft and fluffy. Shower gel and hand soap suppled. TV. Hairdryer. Iron and ironing board, also an umbrella if needed. Coffee making facilities was well stocked. Check-in was swift and helpful. The Black Horse Inn was very popular. The food was lovely and had a specials board. The staff were attentive. They had a very good selection of wine, beers, lagers, ales and ciders. Breakfast was extensive, with everything you could want to eat. We were very pleasantly surprised by this gem of place and would definitely recommend and stay again."

"My mum and me had a wonderful stay at Pontlands Hotel. The staff are very friendly. The bedroom was nice and beds were comfortable. We had a good view out of our window and we were both very happy with the room. Breakfast was fantastic. The spa was great and made our trip. Also the restaurants in the hotel did fabulous food. There was a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and would highly recommend. The parking is quite full when the spa is open but there is extra parking round the back near a children’s nursery as additional parking. After 6 pm at night the parking is much better. It is is great that you get to can use the spa when you are staying at the hotel. We had a lovely long weekend away."

"I felt that this motel-style property offered good value for money at this price. The room and bathroom were clean and provided usual facilities for this class of accommodation. There was a choice of full English cooked breakfast or continental style, and evening meals were available at reasonable prices. There seemed to be plenty of parking spaces, and parking is free provided that details are registered at check-in."

"Nice helpful staff, nice room, nice breakfast. If any issue it was the free shower gel sachets which were difficult to open and I personally didn't like the smell."

"The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was pristine. Very basic hotel but great for a nights stay over. The communal carpets could do with a deep clean. The staff were lovely."
