"The room was clean and had just enough space for 2 people, maybe not for people with bigger/larger amounts of luggage than 1/person. The hotel was located within walking distance of Nijo Castle and to Kyoto Gyoen National Garden where the Kyoto Imperial Palace is located. The Garden and the Imperial Palace grounds are free to enter, so it was a very pleasant experience regardless of the rain. If you are looking for a quieter, more laid-back area to stay in with food options, I would recommend staying at Agora Nijo."

"Our stay in Kyoto was made truly memorable thanks to this wonderful hotel! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, with a special shoutout to Risa, who was so friendly and attentive. The location is ideal -close to many key attractions and just a short walk from the metro station. Our room was neat, comfortable, and spotless. We also really enjoyed the delicious snacks and drinking sake available in the lobby. Highly recommended!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. However the room was fairly small. The AC worked well and was quiet. The Nespresso was a nice touch but a pot of drip coffee works just fine for me. Just pour and go in seconds. There was always a line up in the morning because 1 of the 2 Nespresso machines was down. The adjacent bakery is amazing. Laundry was handy particularly with the live status app. Subway station is right below. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again."

"This place was fantastic, we stayed during Silver Week, which meant the hotel was full, however we never once felt crowded. The only thing lacking was a laundry service, however there is a laundromat 600m away. The closeness to the station which is only one stop from Kyoto was really convenient. Looking forward to coming back."
