The hotel was lovely, and Linda & Des were VERY welcoming and accommodating. They have a little โ€œshopโ€ where you can buy toiletries, wine, drinks, crisps, snacks etc which was very convenient. The breakfasts were AMAAAAZING - lots of options! The only down side was the water was not hot and the water pressure in the shower was low.

Had a lovely short stay here. Hotel was very comfortable and fully equipped and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Garden and heated pool were amazing. Terrific breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Great little find!

It was a lovely place to stay. A Victorian villa which still has many original features, including beautiful stained glass windows. The room was clean and tidy and the hosts were most hospitable. There were some lovely touches, such as complimentary drinks and snacks. It was lovely to sit out on the front veranda with a coffee. The rear garden was well tended and the large swimming pool was fantastic. The only improvements i could suggest are a shower instead of the bath in Room 3 and a washing line in the garden to dry wet swimming kit, but these weren't issues. We had a warm welcome and the breakfasts were exceptional.

A gem of a hotel

Very comfortable hotel and very friendly hosts. Our room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. We could leave the car at the hotel and walk to the sea and restaurants.

Room 20 has a fabulous view of the Church and you can walk straight out onto the veranda to enjoy the morning sun ๐Ÿ˜Ž Linda and Des went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome, giving lots of useful tips on Restaurants and places to visit ๐Ÿ’ž The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the food was divine, highly recommend and canโ€™t wait to return ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Amazing stay!!

Had an amazing stay! Des and Linda are so nice and welcoming. Breakfast is unreal, loved everything we had on the menu! The location of the hotel to everything is perfect, itโ€™s situated within walking distance of the beach front and old town. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent all round. Linda & Des couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Breakfasts surpassed our expectations. Little extras in the room a lovely touch. All very clean, plenty of storage space and really comfortable bed. We were sorry to leave after our four night stay but we have booked for 2020!

First impression on arrival was that the property was in need of a tidy up and sprucing up. Broken step on one side was under repair with a cone placed on it. Inside was dark and unwelcoming. Initially no one at reception but owner came downstairs having just seen guests to room.

A MUST !!

Linda & Des made us feel very welcome during our 3 night weekend stay. Breakfast was excellent with such a wide variety of choice with cooked or buffet. Room was very spacious with a wonderful view of the sea which was also only a 5 minute walk to get to with a wide choice of bars & restaurants, The Village Inn and The Steamer serve lovely food. The Belmont also has a lovely bar where all drinks are very reasonably priced, a lovely place to finish off your evening with a few nightcaps and a good chat with other guests and of course Linda & Des. Lovely outside pool area, everything you need here. Will definitely be staying here again. Des.....you should have had your Porsche in this picture!!
