This place is great! Everything is clean and is in a very short distance to Kenai Fjord National Park. The owner are also very nice and makes sure that we arrived safely.

This was the best place we stayed out of the six hotels of our Alaska trip. Our room was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean, and close to everything in Seward. In addition, it had gorgeous views of Mt Marathon. We could have happily stayed here for weeks. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seward!!

Although the outside of the property isn't so attractive - the inside is quite comfortable and clean. Access was easy and the luggage storage next door was convenient. We were right next to the free shuttle stop and the Sea Life Center and shopping area was within walking distance.

Our room was perfect and the location was great. We got to walk to the Sealife Center in a short amount of time. Definitely would recommend! Hope we will get a chance to come back soon to Alaska and stay here.

The rooms were very nice, clean, and updated. Easy check in and out. The building itself is in need of some updates. Laundromat attached to the building which was convenient for us. Good location- walk to many restaurants and stores and just about a mile to the harbor.

Traveling with my daughter and young grandchildren I did not feel safe. I could hear the conversations and TV in neighboring rooms. I reached out immediately to share my concerns with building management. No resolution was given, very disappointing. The photos are deceptive.

Trailhead lodging was almost exactly what we were looking for. The only reason for 4 stars was the bed and pillows were not very comfortable to me. Everything else was excellent.

Don't judge a book by its cover! We had an interior room and were very pleased and surprised to see the crystal chandelier in the entryway! The room was also very welcoming and comfortable!

My realistic rating is 4.9. Overall, this is a great little place to stay. However, there’s a small stained glass window in the door. Although pleasing to the eye, there is no way to block the light making it hard to sleep for those who turn in before sunset.
