Tropical Island is great for children and a fun time out for the family. The room was okay, beds were uncomfortable. There was no soap in the bathroom with toilet. The air conditioning in the room did not work, so was quite warm and stuffy in the room.

The breakfast buffet was delicious. The lunch menu was limited, and the currywurst was very disappointing. I ditched mine after a few bites. The french fries were fresh. Based on my dinner experience, I recommend the restaurant in the competing hotel across the street.

The staff were very kind and helpful. Myself and my friend stayed in a twin room which was very clean, with all necessary amenities. if we ever needed something, the staff sorted it out very quickly. Also, the beds were SUPER comfy. Definitely would recommend!

Very disappointing. Unable to access our room for about an hour after checking in due a corridor being locked. The room wasn't serviced once during our 3-night stay. The spa and pool were also closed for our entire stay.
