"No air conditioning, just a fan in the room. Corridors were like a sauna. When getting ready for a wedding reception found there was no hairdryer in room, attempted to ring room service and reception, but no-one answered the phone. Had to go to reception in person to request one, which then took half an hour to appear. Spa facilities were excellent with very helpful staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast."

"Excellent breakfast and lovely family run business A little more attention is needed to details and cleaning tea stains on furniture, off set toilet seat, shower gel and soap dispenser were close to empty and pump dispensers were not very good All the staff and people were lovely and looked after us well We did not eat evening meal here but they have a small bar for drinks was a nice touch"

"Good breakfast. I did speak with property about solo travellers being stuck at the back of the dining room. Why cant we have as good a table as anyone else? I am an experienced traveller and dont like being treated any differently to anyone else! Whole hotel and the grounds are georgeous though and I enjoyed my time there. My single room was nicely spacious."

"lovely stay in this dog friendly hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom with shower in bath arrangements slightly dated. Breakfast was more than adequate and included a sausage for the dog. Staff were all very helpful and sourced extra fans on request for the hottest days in June."

"I stayed here for one night with my daughter after a trip to Peppa Pig World, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were lovely, and there was so much to do. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools, played ping-pong, explored the grounds, and even went on the zip line. The most magical part was seeing the wild horses just a short walk away. Being right in the heart of the New Forest made it feel really special. My daughter also loved the piano man and danced her little heart away. To make our stay even more special, the hotel surprised her with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch and made her day. It was truly an amazing experience, and we can’t wait to come back."

"What's not to love? It's peaceful, it's quiet, it's beautiful, and it's tucked away in the middle of the New Forest away from all main roads and disturbances. We've been many times before, usually just to spend a few hours chilling in the bar or in the garden, and we'll continue to go back time and time again."

"No staff at the accommodation but instructions to enter the property went very well. Very close to restaurants - we loved Esme’s kitchen and bakery. Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. Only criticism I have is that Britannia Thai food was recommended with 15% reduction for guests. They didn’t seem too happy when we asked but did give us 10%. The food was excellent though."
