"Underrated resort, amazing value, would stay again. It’s not the Bellagio but that is reflected in the price, don’t know what so many YouTubers are complaining about. Room was nice, clean, and up to date with a great view of the mountains. Elevators and a few public areas could have used a cleaning but it’s a small complaint. Lots of great exhibits and shows here and at Mandalay Bay which is connected by a skywalk with shops. Pool is being renovated but you can use the pools at other resorts while it is closed. "

"Our stay at the MGM was just okay. I would not stay here again for a few reasons. My review is written from the perspective of a parent, as we had our kids with us, ages 10 and 13. 1. We chose MGM for the pool complex. However despite it being 90+ degrees(spring heat wave), they did not have the lazy river pool open our first day and we were only staying 2 nights. On the second day we were excited to use the lazy river until we discovered that you could not rent the inner tubes, instead you have to purchase them at a cost of $30/each. This is absolutely ridiculous considering MGM has a huge outdoor facility and could easily set aside an area to rent them. We did not have room in our luggage to pack this back home. 2. MGM is gigantic. It takes a long time to get anywhere. The trek to the pool from our hotel room was 10 minutes. Navigating is generally difficult, expect to get turned around. 3. We did online check-in, don't do this. You risk getting a room with a bad view. My brother was with us and he did the regular check-in and got a great room on the floor above us. Later when we tried to go to his room, after a confusing mess of going down to lobby and back up a few times, we discovered the key cards only let you off on the floor of your room. 4. SMOKE! I know most of the casinos allow smoking but dang, there was so much smoke. If you have even mild asthma, you're in trouble. My daughter was struggling walking through the casino."
