"Nice Big room with view to the sea"

"Pousada Portas da Amazônia was a nice experience in the historical area of São Luís. It was great to stay here and see the historical part of the city. The food served was good and the pousada had a lot of historical details. There are a lot of options within walking distance to eat, shop, and other activities. We loved seeing the history from the city firsthand."

"Overall, we had a pretty good stay at this hotel. For the money, it delivers good value. The room itself was pretty clean, but our shower was quite dirty and could use a proper deep cleaning. But all the staff were very Nice and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items, including a good selection of fresh fruit. And the location is very good, especially for a nice dinner out on a restaurant near the Lagoon or at champs mall nearby."
