The lobby has a breathtaking full wall of glass facing the ocean. Our room was so comfortable, with a balcony directly overlooking the beach, what an amazing view! We appreciated the minifridge and the safe. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was amazing! This was our first day ever in Brazil, and Hotel Luzeiros made it a wonderful experience.

We spent one night at Luzeiros which is a short Uber ride from the historic city center and from the Arraial de São Joao. The hotel is very modern, the staff friendly and the breakfast amazing.

Although the hotels on the beach, there really is no beach access and the beach in the area is full of large boulders. The area around the hotel did not look very safe and there really were no restaurants walking distance. The hotel amenities were very minimal. The breakfast was decent.

The overall rating is very good. The staff was friendly even for a non Portuguese speaker. The people in Brazil are generally very nice. The one thing I didn't like was that although they cleaned the room daily, they never changed the sheets or the bed cover, until the day before i checked out. Without going into detail as to why that was necessary, it was unacceptable to me. Oh and the hotel has no ac in the common areas of the living quarters. It's hot as **** in the hallways. But fortunately the rooms are nice and comfortable.
