Lovely boutique hotel in a great neighborhood! Our room was spotless, we had a bottle of sparkling white as a welcome, breakfast was fresh and delish. The atmosphere of the Castillo Rojo is just charming! Happy hour every day on the patio...just wonderful! The staff could not have been any better! This is located in a historic, busier part of Santiago near the base of San Cristobal. Many fun places to eat. The funicular will take you on top for the iconic Virgin Mary monument is located and panoramic views of the city. The hotel is enclosed and placed outdoor seating in the courtyard covered in ivy; it's very peaceful. The motel was once a mansion. Breakfast maybe outside in the courtyard, or inside the historic mansion. Our family loved it
