"Parking in Assisi in never easy however, the suggestion from the hotel owner to park in the deck at the bottom of the city was very helpful! There was a lift and escalator to assist in reaching the top. That was very helpful. You must remember to pay for your parking before you attempt to exit the parking garage.... trust me... it's not good to get stuck at the exit gate.... Our rookie mistake... not the parking garage's mistake."

"Basic small hotel in a great location, right in the center of Assisi but far enough from the main square to be unaffected by noise from restaurants or tourist traffic. It's an old building, though, so you'll hear sounds from other guests and staff, including radio, tv, doors opening and closing, etc. It's quiet at night, and the AC works well. Room was advertised as having breakfast included, and many reviews mentioned a great breakfast, but the host didn't say anything about breakfast at check-in. A card in my room said breakfast was self-service, but the breakfast room only had vending machines with no prices and instructions only in Italian. The two elderly people who were in the room watching tv didn't offer to help (or really even say anything in response to my Buon Giorno) despite my obvious confusion, so perhaps they were also guests and didn't know what to do either. I found breakfast elsewhere, but if this matters to you ask for instructions at check-in. "
