This is one of the best hotels we have stayed 3 nights in. The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended

Igor at the reception was extremely helpful and helpful. Location was great but if you intend to go to St Francis Basilica you need to drive up. Our TV wasn’t working but we were too tired to watch it anyway

Beautiful setting and so peaceful

What a beautiful amazing place to stay! We were here two nights and it was fabulous. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. I’ve never had eggs so good! Yiu are right outside of Assisi so you don’t have to deal with parking issues. It’s a lovely setting and Giacomo at the front desk helped with everything from wonderful dinner reservations to letting us know where to park in the city. Lots of huge lots and LOTS of stairs in the city! It’s a wonderful place to visit and the hotel could not be in a more beautiful setting!

A total gem just outside Assisi city walls

This is an amazing property - unique and extremely charming. Hospitality, Breakfast and Dinner were 5* I was not aware of the circular stairs for the loft, but the lighting is excellent and was not an issue. While the address is on the main road, the entrance is through a back road and difficult to find. Directions should provided at least a few days in advance.

Definitely recommend. Was greeted by Marguerite, who was friendly and informative. I was allowed an early check in. The room was chic and clean, the bed comfortable. The location is ideal as it is just outside the gates of Assisi. Hope to return.

Worst check in possible. Had to wait 15min to be checked in with one person at reception and go was supposed to send welcome drinks and have someone take care of the check in immediately. Never got a welcome drink and waited forever to be checked in. Room was small and tired. In desperate need of a refresher.

Sublime in Assisi

The property is beautiful and the location is perfect, laying just outside the city walls under the shadow of the St Francis monastery. On site restaurant serves amazing food and the staff are attentive and of high caliber. The only minor gripe was the additional charge for the towels for the pool, also the charge for the in room coffee pods. Yes it’s not much, but why charge it as extra?

Buongiorno .. purtroppo per certi aspetti il Nostro soggiorno si e’ rivelato deludente.Avevamo prenotato una stanza poi abbiamo cambiato idea all’arrivo e la stanza scelta purtroppo non aveva neanche il bidet...ci siamo accorti tardi ...Vabeh comunque al nostro arrivo ci hanno offerto un caffè e un amaro che ci siamo trovati poi sul Conto finale ...ma non era “vi posso offrire qualcosa?”...le attività di svago erano tutte da prenotare forse tempo prima ..come il massaggio nelle amache che non si sa come era già tutto prenotato,.Ma la ciliegina sulla torta e’ stato il conto della cena ..prezzi sopra la media ..grigliata scarsa e piatto di verdure (per carità tutte dal loro orto)a 15 euro.Insomma ..prezzo totale solo della cena 101 euro ,che ci può stare se non fosse che ... 1 euro te lo omaggiano anche nei peggiori bar a volte per molto meno ma qui no...ovviamente il mio lui gli ha lasciato anche il resto ..perché la galanteria in certi posti “agriturismi chic” non e’ solo nel nome ...

Truly lovely property. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness around every aspect of the space was made it a fantastic experience. The bar is top notch - get a drink there and the breakfast was lovely. Sad we missed the opening of the restaurant a few weeks after our arrival. Cannot say enough good things, book here!
