They had the place decorated for the holidays and it was beautiful. The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go to in the town of Assisi.

Location,location! The hotel is very close to all sights. Carmine and his wife run this hotel and take great care and pride in its upkeep. Breakfast is delicious with Carmine's wife making the daily bread. The hotel is modern and new within ancient travertine construction. We loved our stay here.

The hotel is elegantly designed and decorated, very artistic and pleasant. Very clean, the window glass is spotless, making you feel like nothing there and you would walk into it. The staff members are extremely kind and courteous and willing to help.

Wonderful place to stay. You do have to drop your luggage off —they will send you an e-mail about this —and then park down the mountain in a parking lot. The couple that manage the hotel are fabulous. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast exceptional, and the service was definitely a 10. You definately will want to stay at least 2 nights. They also have a terrace upstairs to watch the sun set.

We had a fantastic stay and was very impressed with the beautiful design and decor in our room and the entire building! The beds were very comfortable…even the pull out couch for my son. Absolutely loved the family feel of Portica 10! Truly a hidden gem in Assisi! Rooms were large and comfortable with super clean/new bathroom. Homemade breakfast breads and jams! Close to all the sites and main square. Wish I could have spent more time there but will go back someday!

It is elegantly decorated and maintained by the owner. Carmine had been warm and caring for our needs. The terrace on the rooftop overlooks the town. You can enjoy fantastic sunset there. Breakfast is also great. We had a very pleasant stay.
