Sant Gervasi – la Bonanova Hotels near Barcelona

"Well I stayed in the grand suite which had a huge outdoor balcony. The issue was the lights for the balcony were off. I asked the front desk on the first night if they could turn the lights on. They said they would call someone. No one came and lights stayed off. The second night I had the gentleman that was working the front desk come look at the problem he left and said he had to make a call to fix the problem. I waited all night no one came to fix or turn on the lights. I rented the room to enjoy a big balcony at night but it was completely dark so it ruined our plans. Also the jets in the tub did not work at all. I find it disconcerting to advertise jet tub and an outdoor balcony if you’re unable to use them as desired. When you rent the most expensive room in the hotel these are not the issues you should have to deal with. Other than that everything else was great. "

"Very spacious rooms and staff was excellent. The hotel didn’t have a shuttle but did have Taxis waiting right outside the hotel. Grocery store very nearby/walking distance from hotel for a quick snack or waters. "

"Just 2 small towels, no glasses in room, pillows very small , side table on one side only , bare minimum on all things"

"I have stayed at this property a number of times while boarding cruises in Barcelona, it is convenient for the airport and downtown Barcelona as it is right beside the Europa Fira station which is on a number of lines . The rooms are nice even, but you should be aware that the bathroom is glass and takes up a lot of the room"
