"It looked like it closed down 10 years ago. Buildings were falling apart, the pool was dry and no one was there. We traveled 2 hours to get there and luckily he was ok to cancel and turn around and leave. "
"Dont book on this place. This is self check in which is good, the cleaners dont even clean before your arrival. My experience was so bad my allergies from dirty carpet and bed got so bad. And mind you the bathroom is nice, not cleaned and the smell is like sewage. The whole room I lost alot of money on this place just to be told on the first day i cannot get refunded. Dont get me wrong the location wise is good, its just the place is dirty and getting my refund, was not an option at that time....

The hotel staff was helpful, giving me many tips for places to see. But the hotel surrounding area is noisy. I can hear someone in the neighborhood arguing very loudly late at night. "It was a great experience staying at this hotel. Staff are friendly and professional. Room is spacious. We got one double queen beds room. Beds are clean and comfortable. Sauna and fitness facilities you should not miss it.
If I have to pick on something, I would comment on only two items here. 1) The location is a bit far away from subway stations. I would suggest to take express train from airport to Taipei main station. Then grab a Uber car service to the hotel. 2) The laundry room is a bit small with only 2 sets of washing and drying machines. But be honest we never need to wait for either washing or drying machine. They always available for us. :)

"We celebrated Father’s Day with the whole family and grandpa at the Grand Hotel Taipei. The hotel staff were extremely warm and friendly toward the elderly. In addition to a bathtub, the bathroom’s shower area was equipped with a seat and handrails, which was wonderful. From the balcony, we could even enjoy a view of Taipei 101."
"Cozzi Minsheng is a great hotel! Stayed here for 7 days. Close to two metro lines and bus stops (10-15 min walk).The room's spacious, clean, with a big TV. The bathroom is also great, very clean, and I love the toilet. The cleaning lady is super nice and friendly. she always says hi whenever she sees my girlfriend and me. Front desk is also very polite and friendly.
The breakfast was excellent! The salad bar is the same every day, but I love it. The veggies were fresh, ate it every morning.
Just one thing, the pillows are quite flat.
