This hotel is impeccable. Historical meets luxury and absolutely stunning balcony views with a pool that kept us cool in the start of the summer. They have a delicious buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner which we dined for all three. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend you stay here.
Hotel itself is beautiful and food served in the hotel building are up scale food, but if you are looking for tranquility area the pool side is the best place where you can lay back and enjoy the scenery peacefully. Love its decorations and its shuttle bus schedules.
The place is beautiful! It surroundings with the pretty hiking trails. The hotel itself has a lot of history. The staff are super friendly! Beautiful and peaceful place!
We booked Pavillion room with balcony. The room is pretty well spaced. The mini fridge is not that cold. There's no microwave in the room and the ac was not cold. The staff was helpful and they were respectful and helpful. The restaurants are very nice.
Rooms are remodeled recently and are spacious and comfortable. Many great restaurants in the hotel. Free shuttles to and from MRT. Definitely will stay here next time.
I had two people tell me that this hotel was amazing on the inside but old and not too nice on the inside. I’m afraid I have to disagree, it was amazing both inside and out. It’s has clearly been recently redone and the lobby, rooms, and restaurants were all great. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony, so I cannot speak to the windowless rooms.. which I suspect may have been the source of the other comments. The property has history, is beautiful, and I highly recommend it.
A beautiful hotel with wonderful view and environment. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and the food at the restaurant was great. We will highly recommend it.
Love the property the rooms the hotel and the staff. Restaurants are good.
They just need a nice bar with a decent wine list.
Otherwise it is an amazing experience. 9/10
Nice and clean room in a well sit location. The reception area is huge and will make you feel you are one of the celebrities when you are there. The shuttle bus is very convenient. The staff is quite nice. What I like the place the most is the back hill of the hotel. If you get up early and walk through the path back there you will see the city of Taipei and the New Taipei City from the other side.
