Sand Island hotel rooms a the Outrigger

"The pool was great, staff was great, my only recommendation is the restaurant and bar area, it should be more interactive, live music, the menu and food was not great, I love poke and soy but everything I had was not delicious and maybe more of a variety I tried 3 times in 2 days. I have worked in the service industry for a long time I feel like this place could benefit with a more social vibe…open up the red fish area during the afternoon, intertwine it with the pool bar, have just edamame and onion rings, basic apps, cute drinks, beer, use up all the space for people to have fun, just my opinion. Overall very lovely "

"While the Twin Fin may not be the most modern, luxurious hotel you may be looking for, it is well appointed, scrupulously clean, and the staff and amenities are exemplary. Treat yourself to an ocean view room, the view and sunsets are not to be missed. The location cannot be rivalled, especially if you have children, as you are directly across the road from the Waikiki Wall, a beach area protected from the waves and creating a perfect spot for young beach goers. "

"The ocean was partly visible from the room. It was a very nice convenient location. Room is a little old, with mold in the tiles in the showers. Overall good. Staff at checking was very nice and helpful. Would come back again but will request a better view."
