Top San Luis Obispo Wine Country Hotel Reviews

Hotel Calle Joaquin

8/10 Good

"Helpful staff."

Avila Village Inn

10/10 Excellent

"There are no amenities other than coffee and tea in the lobby. One small bar of soap in the bathroom and that's it !! There was a charge of $90.00 for three days plus tax for "facilities fees" !!!??? there is no Gym, no pool, so what "facilities fees" cover. ?? Parking?? you have to share the existing spaces with a Health spa/club/gym next door, good luck finding a parking space if you go out in the mornings. Other than that the hotel is excellent, very quiet and next to a trail."

Hilton Vacation Club San Luis Bay Avila Beach

10/10 Excellent

"I was happy to have a room where I could see the ocean. Staff was nice, especially Eileen. She always goes out of her way to be helpful , is friendly and always tries her best and has a great attitude. The jacuzzi sometimes maybe needs to be drained. I know it gets a lot of use but skin can be itchy afterwards. Love the grounds and the remodel is very nice."

Madonna Inn

8/10 Good

"the property is a hoot. staff all very friendly and paid attention to detail. The cakes and pastries are a sight to behold and smell in the morning. The views from the pool are amazing. Some aspects seem old and could use some sprucing up (faded paint, carpets in our room smelled musty) but overall definitely worth a stop if you prefer a unique experience instead of a chain hotel. We've never seen anything quite like it."
