"A/C was not working when I checked in and repair person was gone for the day. No other rooms were available. No discount, refund or other accommodations were offered. Neighborhood is not very safe. If I were a woman I would feel very uncomfortable walking around there at night."

"The Doubletree in San Jose was excellent. Unfortunately, when we were there, it was raining so we didn’t get to use the pool as much as we wanted to. But that was not anything to do with our experience in terms of the staff. the amenities are great. The rooms are great. They are a little bit outdated. Maybe it was just the room that we got. But you cant ho wrong with s double tree. The price is fair. It’s it’s great compared to other hotels and the amenities are amazing. The staff was great. They were great with my little one. Made sure we had cookies everyday. Very helpful just very customer service oriented very very happy with our stay"

"This is one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long long time anywhere. Excellent staff. Excellent venue. Clean. New. Easy access to everything. Quick check in. Easy parking. The room was spacious. The shower was exactly like I like it, no curtain, step in without a bath tub, just glass and wide. It is easily one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had in the Bay Area and even internationally."
