"When I booked this hotel I had my doubts, but after I arrived and went to my room , king bed very comfortable, pillow choices , firm or soft, nothing fancy, room clean, everything nice, had exactly what we needed and wanted for the 2 nights we stayed. Conveniently located to hop on the trolley, easy to get to the wharf. Parking at hotel easy , no complaints with that and reasonable price compared to many other places, since public transit is so easy to use there, when we go back, I will definitely stay at this hotel, but I won’t rent a car, there is no need to rent a car, we found out. Staff at hotel friendly. I gave our cleaning lady flowers for being so nice."

"Old luxury hotel under construction with scaffoldings propped by the main entrance. There were clear signs of wear and tear, both and out of the hotel. The bed sheets had weird stains, but the cleaning staff replaced the sheets upon request."

"Great location convenient to Union Square, The Trolley, Ferry Building is walkable. Only complaint is the AC gave nothing. Room was hot. Used the windows which helped some but as a preference we like it cooler so didn't help much."
